Southern Ohio Science of Reading Symposium
Shawnee State University's School of Education is proud to announce the first ever Southern Ohio Science of Reading Symposium, taking place on July 16-17, 2024.
The event will feature keynote speaker Michelle Elia, a renowned expert in the field of reading education.
The symposium will bring together educators, administrators, faculty, researchers, and professionals to discuss the latest advancements in the science of reading through two keynote speakers and two breakout sessions from 9:00-3:30 each day.
Session presenters will be unveiled over the next few weeks, covering a wide range of topics related to reading instruction and literacy development for preschool-grade 12.
Registration for the symposium opens May 25, with a cost of $25 per day or $40 for a 2-day pass.
Lunch is included with registration, and the first 100 registrants will receive a swag bag filled with goodies.
